Full Height Turnstiles (Electrical) - Features and Options Electrical controls for entry only, exit only or independent bi-directional electrics controls for both entry and exit. (Standard Feature for electrically operated turnstiles) For electrically controlled direction. Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling. (Standard Feature for electrical directions) For mechanical operation, direction is always locked or always free rotating. (Standard Feature for mechanical directions) Transformer to step down from 110 VAC or 220 VAC. (Standard Feature for electrically operated turnstiles) Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length. (Optional) Recommended Option. Relay to automatically relock turnstile within a preset time if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through. (Optional) Recommended Option. Set of red and green lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically controlled direction. (Optional) Allows turnstile to be released from remote location for one rotation. (Optional) Provides a Form "C" contact closure to the access control system for remote counting and monitoring of turnstile rotations. (Optional) Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system when turnstile is in home position. (Optional) Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system that turnstile solenoid has been activated. (Optional) Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader. For Fail Safe directions only (Optional) Key to allow Fail lock direction to be held open during power failure or at times free passage is required. (Optional) Rings welded to the rotating and barrier section for use of an owner supplied padlock to lock unit and prevent use. (Optional) Mounting Plate Plate to allow mounting of card reader on shield post Heavy duty foam rubber sleeves to cover bottom turnstile arms. Three required for each 3 armed turnstile, 4 required for each 4 armed turnstile, and 6 or 8 required for the tandem turnstiles (Optional) Non-weatherproof, square (for single rotor turnstiles and rectangular for tandem turnstiles) stainless steel canopy instead of the standard top channel cover and partial ceiling plate. This provides for a more pleasing appearance. Round canopy is also available for the single rotor turnstiles. (Optional) Heavy Duty Shock system that controls rotational speed of the turnstiles to minimize turnstile abuse and provide the increased ease of use. Specifically designed for high volume, abusive conditions. Triangle type for units with welded shield assemblies and the gear type for those units using the strip shield assemblies (This option is standard on all units larger that 66" over all wide in the single rotor type and all clear armed and clear panel types). (Optional) Remote mounted post and mounting plate for card readers. For stainless steel units only. This is a highly suggested option for all units going into a highly corrosive environment. Also may be used in outdoor locations. (Optional) Powder coating of colors other than standard black texture powder coating. Colors available are all in standard RAL color numbers. (Optional on all Powder coated units) Anodizing of color other than standard clear (satin silver). Colors available are black, dark bronze, Champaign. (Optional) Batteries and charger for backup of power. Minimum back up time (tested) is 8 hours for fail lock/fail safe configuration. Includes charger with auto cutoff and trickle charge capabilities. |
