Full Height Turnstiles (Electrical) - Features and Options

  • Electrical Controls
Electrical controls for entry only, exit only or independent bi-directional electrics controls for both entry and exit. (Standard Feature for electrically operated turnstiles)

  • Fail Lock / Fail safe
For electrically controlled direction. Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling. (Standard Feature for electrical directions)

  • Free or Locked Exit
For mechanical operation, direction is always locked or always free rotating. (Standard Feature for mechanical directions)

  • Voltage
Transformer to step down from 110 VAC or 220 VAC. (Standard Feature for electrically operated turnstiles)

  • Pulse Relay
Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length. (Optional) Recommended Option.

  • Time Out Relay
Relay to automatically relock turnstile within a preset time if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through. (Optional) Recommended Option.

  • Indicator Lights
Set of red and green lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically controlled direction. (Optional)

  • Remote Push button
Allows turnstile to be released from remote location for one rotation. (Optional)

  • Rotation Detection Switch
Provides a Form "C" contact closure to the access control system for remote counting and monitoring of turnstile rotations. (Optional)

  • Home Position Switch
Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system when turnstile is in home position. (Optional)

  • Solenoid Activation Switch
Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system that turnstile solenoid has been activated. (Optional)

  • Electronic Key Bypass
Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader. For Fail Safe directions only (Optional)

  • Mechanical Key By Pass
Key to allow Fail lock direction to be held open during power failure or at times free passage is required. (Optional)

  • Out of Use Lock
Rings welded to the rotating and barrier section for use of an owner supplied padlock to lock unit and prevent use. (Optional)

This provides for a more pleasing appearance. Round canopy is also available for the single rotor turnstiles. (Optional)

  • Hydraulic Speed Control
Heavy Duty Shock system that controls rotational speed of the turnstiles to minimize turnstile abuse and provide the increased ease of use. Specifically designed for high volume, abusive conditions. Triangle type for units with welded shield assemblies and the gear type for those units using the strip shield assemblies (This option is standard on all units larger that 66" over all wide in the single rotor type and all clear armed and clear panel types). (Optional)

  • Card Reader Pedestal
